Performance of Space Time Block Coded-Spatial Multiplexing Systems with Limited Feedback

In this paper, an efficient feedback scheme in space time block coded spatial multiplexing systems is presented. The proposed scheme is designed empirically by extending the diagonally weighted orthogonal space time block codes to spatial multiplexing. Simulation results show this scheme outperforms both the precoder using the predefined codebooks and typical antenna selection scheme over moderate feedback delay with the limited feedback rate.
