SSD 스토리지 시스템에서 PRAM 기반 계층구조 해시테이블을 이용한 데이터 중복제거 기법

초록

In this paper, we propose a deduplication method using PRAM-based hierarchical hash tables in SSD storage system. The proposed method caches frequently referenced data in PRAM and performs deduplication in PRAM cache and first hash table in DRAM stores fingerprints for these frequently referenced data and replace them using LRU. Second hash table in PRAM stores fingerprints for all the data stored in SSD. Experimental result shows that the proposed method improves write performance than existing technique does.
