E/R 및 선미부 에서의 hole 간 간격의 현황과 문제점

There are a lot of openings, holes and slots in ship structural members. It is not easy to solve the troubles around the openings adequately at the detail design stage, because there are a lot of concerning locations. There are not also clear design rules of classification societies and it is not possible to apply direct calculation approach for all the concerning members. In other to clarify the present condition of holes arrangement at E/R and stern area, the rules of each classification society and the standard of ship building company were investigated. On the basis of these studies, forty three concerning locations were selected and sorted into fourteen types for the three commercial ships. Even though the results of stress analysis shows that present detail designs are satisfied with the allowable stress, these designs are not satisfied with current standard..
