CONNECTION THE MONAD FROM PROPERTY OF URBAN SCALE BY INTERVENTION OF THE OTHER

초록

This project focuses on the harmony of time and place through intervention between Hanyang castle surrounding Seoul and a neighboring village. In this study, it is explored how to connect the historical significance to today, by combining a time monad built for defense of the city and establishment of Choseon Dynasty and a place monad of village constructed around the castle. Based on this proposal, a particular site is selected and the design experiment is to be executed. Finally this study is to propose the architectural intervention between Zeitlichkeit and regionality of Seoul. Key words: Ancient Seoul’s castle wall, Zeitlichkeit, regionality
