To apply the lightweight materials in the industry, the improvement of both mechanical strength and the processability of the material are important factor as well as specific gravity. ? Hollow glass microsphere (HGM) could decrease the specific gravity of the composite material, and Glass fiber (GF) could enhance mechanical strength of the composite. ? However, when the HGM and GF are added to the polymer composite, viscosity of the composite is increased and HGM is significantly broken in the high shear extrusion process. ? Thus, we applied the hyperbranched polymer (HBP) as a lubricating agent and as a compatibilizer of the composite material.
