초록
Recently optical thin films, such as DWDM filters, wide band-pass filters, antireflection coatings, gain flattening filters, and so on, have been widely used in optical telecommunication. A basic theory of design of optical coatings, characteristics of optical films and various deposition methods will be reviewed briefly.
