초록

poly(2-decyloxy-1,4-phenylene) Do-PPP is a kind of deformed molecule for PPP to be dissolved in a solvent. Since this molecule has a peak of photoluminescence at 410 nm and is thermally stable, it takes a growing interest in the field of display using organice molecules. We fabricated thin films with this polymer by using the Langmuir-Blodgett technique and investigated the property of luminescence and the effect of directivity. We made three types of thin films; a pure Do-PPP monolayere film, a Y-type film of mixed with cadmium arachidate of surface active agent, and a superlattice film of Do-PPP/CdA. We observed the same behavior of photoluminescence from all three types of films including a pure Do-PPP monolayer film.
