Laterally grown ZnO nanorod arrays on obliquely deposited seed layer and its UV photocurrent response

We describe a mothod that ZnP nanorods can be laterally grown in one direction on oblique seed layers. In our experimental results, ZnO nanorods were grown from one sides of the Cr line edges as seed layer deposition angles are increased. These results suggests that one side of ZnO seed later films has lower surface energy that the other. And also, we measured I•V characteristics both in the dark and under UV. The sample with PDMG passivation has a higher photocurrent than no passivation.
