초록

The electronic structure and magnetism of 4d transition metal clusters having fcc geometry has been studied using a Gaussian orbital basis and local density approximations. It is found that 4d elements are very likely to show magnetism in cluster phase even though they are nonmagnetic in bulk phase. It is also found that a cluster can have many different magnetic moment with very small differenced in energy.
