Response of plankton structure to climate change

Planktonic productivity is influenced by the CO2 increase. Plankton diversity is decreased by the increases of CO2 and acidification in the marine ecosystem. Planktonic food web is changed by the global warming with the variation of microbial food web. To understand the response of plankton to climate change, we need periodic monitoring the plankton structure for a long time.
