초록
In this paper, a new transient electric field measuring system used in the fields of high voltage engineering and electromagnetic interference evaluations has been performed. The measuring principle based on the electromagnetic equations is described and the planar-type electric field measuring system, which has a wide frequency bandwidth has been developed. The signal transmission system consists of the optical fiber links to minimize the effect of electromagnetic disturbances. The electric field measuring system showed a good step response characteristics in the frequency domain as well as the low frequency domain and its frequency bandwidth was in the range from 12Hz to 12MHz with an amplification factor of 5. The transient electric fields, which originate from the operations of a high voltage experimental apparatus, were measured and analyzed by use of the Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) method. The cause of heavy disturbances during the high voltage experiment processes were known through the FFT analysis in the frequency domain.
