Business Cases of Innovation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Examples from Korea

This topic aims to present some business cases of innovation in logistics and supply chain management that have been successfully implemented in recent years by companies in Korea. From a practical point of view, key issues that manufacturing and distribution companies are facing in real world logistics operations are discussed, and their efforts to reduce logistics cost while enhancing the level of customer service are provided. It also includes basic concept of theoretical and technological backgrounds that are applied to solve the real world logistics problem. These case studies would help transportation researchers gain insights for their future researches.
