초록

Introduction : Androgen Deprivation Therapy is Still primary treatment for patients with metastatic disease and Provides important quality of life benefits in 70~80% of patients : pathological fracture, spinal cord compression, ureteral obstruction, Reduced bone pain, Better performance status and well-being sense Summary 1. First-line Treatment is Medical or surgical castration (Add AA afterwards) fro metastatic Prostate cancer 2. CAB is not a standard treatment option and should not be used routinely 3. Monotherapy such as orchiectomy, LHRH agonist and estrogen is equivalent clinical response in advanced PCa 4. NS AA valid in case of low tumor volume in M+ or locally advanced disease is available but should be abandoned as Monotherapy 5. IAS is still investigational and results of randomized trials awaited. 6. Available evidences support early rather than delayed treatment in advanced PCa, especially bone pain and systemic effects. Conclusion : Treatment decision-making is individualized.
