초록
LNA is used in communication equipment as an element for amplifying the electromagnetic signal. If LNAs are affected hazardous HPEM environment, malfunctions or physical destructions occur by front door coupling. This paper is the study of susceptibility analysis for LNAs in the HPM threat. In this experiment, Magnetron was used as HPM source with a center frequency of 2.45 GHz. The field strength was measured using an oscilloscope and d-dot sensor. In HPM threat, the responses of the LNAs are measured by oscilloscope. If frequency of HPM and the resonant frequency of the antenna are similar, unwanted high energy signal is passed through the LNAs devices, thus malfunction and damage occur. On this study, the LNAs showed weakness by HPM threat.
