A case of neutrophilic eccrine hidradenitis in Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

초록

Neutrophilic eccrine hidradenitis (NEH) is a rare self-limited condition primarily described in patients with acute myelogenous leukemia and other hematologic malignant disorders, usually during chemotherapy, suggesting a drug-induced mechanism. However, there were a few reports on NEH in other neoplastic and nonneoplastic conditions that were not associated chemotherapeutic agents. We report the first case of NEH in a patient with Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). His skin eruption was developed initially during the second chemotherapy with paclitaxel and cisplatin. Interestingly the eruption was recurred without using those chemotherapeutic drugs. Both the eruptions were treated effectively with dapsone.
