초록
We analyzed the coupling length and the extinction ratio of a directional coupler as a function of waveguide width and the center to center distance. Characteristics of the coupling length and the extinction ratio are shown as s condition with minimum, maximum coupling length, and maximum extinction ratio, respectively, as a function of the waveguide width. Generally, the coupling length and the extinction ratio are changed rapidly as a function of the waveguide width, but these conditions are not changed
