스트레스에 의한 태아발달, NMDA 수용체성 LTP, 학습과 기억의 손상
초록
Abundant evidence indicates that stress exerts profound influences on physiological and behavioral consequences in later life. It remains, howver, unknown wehter ,aternal stress may affect fetal development and brain functions of adult offspring that was born fron stressed mother and reared in a normal environment. In the present study, we showed that maternal stress retarded etal development, and sdult mice born from stressed motjer have reduction in NMDA receptor-mediated hippocampal long-term potenitaiton (LTP), and impairments in spatial learning and memory and fear avoidance responses. These results suggest that prolonged maternal stress reprograms the fetal development and leads to irreresible malfunctions of the brain even in adulthood.
