Optimization of Decentralized Congestion Control for 5G-NR-V2X
초록
One of the most critical problems with vehicle sidelink communications is channel congestion. A lot of message exchanges may be necessary as the number of vehicles in the scene rises, which might easily generate congestion and make the applications unreliable. To deal with the unreliability of cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) sidelink communication, the European Telecommunications Standard Institute (ETSI) suggests a Decentralized Congestion Control (DCC) architecture to manage channel load. When reducing channel load, the DCC algorithm must also guarantee stability and fairness. They ensure that vehicles with identical channel loads are entitled to the same transmissn on parameters and that parameters do not repeatedly oscillate between different levels of parameters, thereby affecting communication quality. In this paper, we analyze the fairness and stability issues of DCC and conduct a corresponding optimization scheme survey.
