Effect of vitamin C adjuvant therapy plus low dose EPO in economically poor HD patients

초록

Vitamin C is able to release iron from ferritin and mobilize iron from RES system. We introduce vitamin C as adjuvant therapy in 15 HD patients. The results suggest vitamin C adjuvant therapy in combination with low dose EPO treatment may help imrove anemia in poor HD patients
