A study on the circuit minimization technique using edge multiple-valued decision diagrams

In this paper, we discussed about the logic minimization using decision diagrams. This new data struture called edge multiple-valued decision diagram is a representation of functions. An EMVDD is an extension of edge-valued binary decision diagrams that allows for multi-level and hierarchical verification. We proposed new algorithms for generating EMVDDs and showed the minimization of nodes with examples.
