초록
The initiation and growth of short fatigue cracks in a simulated aircraft structure of AA2024-T3 thin plate with a series of rivet holes was detected by acoustic emission(AE) in real-time and the accurate crack sizing was subsequently carried out by using surface acoustic wave (SAW) technique.
