Association between socioeconomic status and lifestyle factors, metabolic control and diabetic complications in Korean elderly patients with type 2 diabetes

Korean elderly women with type 2 diabetes who had lower income level had higher odds of having diabetic retinopathy. More active screening for diabetic retinopathy may be beneficial for this population.
