Roles and tasks of principal for the creative school management

The role of a school in this information-intensive society will have to be carefully examined to avoid the mistake of teaching students in an outdated setting, namely that of an industrial society. For a given school unit, the principal is at the top of the pyramid, and accordingly there are a lot of areas accessible where he or she can make a difference. Depending on the principal's school management strategy, the education of a school invariably differs, in some cases to quite a large extent. In this article I would like to review the roles and tasks of a principal for a creative school management to resolve the issues schools are facing day-to-day, and further cast new directions for an effective management enabling the school to aptly adopt to the social change.
