ZnO thin film deposition onto non-conducting alumina template
초록
ZnO thin film was deposited onto non-conducting alumina template by electro-chemical method. Chronoamperometry (i.e., constant potential method) of ?.0 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) was applied to deposit compact ZnO thin film onto the honeycomb shaped pores of a nanoporous alumina membrane. Analyzing morphological observations by SEM, we observed three distinct regions: (i) conducting platinum substrate; (ii) non-conducting alumina; (iii) thin film onto alumina template. XRD structural analysis of deposited materials onto alumina template and EDX analysis of second region (i.e., alumina layer) clearly showed ZnO thin film was formed on non-conducting alumina template. Figure 1 shows deposition mechanism of ZnO this film on alumina tem-plate.
