The usefulness of endoscopic submucosal dissection technique in resection of large pedunculated colon polyps

Introduction Large pedunculated colon polyps can be resected by standard snare techniques with the aids of detachable snare or metal clips. But sometimes the peduncle of the polyp is too thick to apply metal clips, and detachable snare cannot compress effectively the feeding vessels located in the deep portion of the thick peduncle gastrointestinal tract.
