Serum chemerin levels are positively correlated with abdominal visceral fat in type 2 diabetes

초록

The serum chemerin was probably predictors of visceral adiposity and may play an important role in inflammation, diabetic nephropathy and cardiovascular disease that cause mortality in type 2 diabetes. The chemerin as a biomarker of metabolic syndrome in type 2 diabetes could be useful in early detection of these pathological states and prevention of their unfavorable cardiovascular consequences.
