Fludized Reactor Operation for Continuous water Toxicity Monitoring by Immobilized Photobacterium phosphoreum

초록

Water toxicity was monitored continuous culture of Photobacterium phosphereum. After 10 days of operation, a mutant strain which emits no light appeared and dominated the population, resulting in a rapid decrease in bioluminescence. TO overcome this problem, we attempted to use immobilized reactor where cells are continuously released to the medium.
