A middleware for an open control system in the distributed computing environment

The advance of computer, network, and internet technology enables the control systems to process the massive data in the distributed control environments. This paper proposes the middleware services for the control domain. With the proposed domain-specific services, it is relatively easy to acquire compatibility between products and to implement a control system with lightweight event-based service.
