플랜트용 CAD 시스템 간 장비 모델 변환 방법 및 구현에 관한 연구

초록

Plant and shipbuilding industry is distinguished from other industries because of its complex layout, one-design for one-plant and long life-cycle. Accordingly, client companies are making efforts to use the information which is generated from the design during the period of operation and maintenance, therefore they require the CAD model data to the contractor. When the client requests a CAD model format other than the CAD system possessed by the EPC company, the CAD model must be converted to the corresponding system. And mainly used plant CAD model conversion method between different CAD systems is manual model rebuilding which requires a lot of cost, time, and converted model verification. Various studies using standard format and commercial format are underway to reduce the cost. In this study, we have studied and implemented the method to convert the equipment model belonging to the plant to another CAD system.
