Experimental Study of Flow Patterns around Circular Body on Sea-Bed

초록

Flow patterns around tow-dimensional circular bodies are experimentally investigated at two types of boundaries as a basic study about stability of a pipeline on seabed. One is plane boundary and the other is trenching-shaped bounday. The flow patterns are analyzed by using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) in the Circulating Water Channel at various currents conditions.
