Efficacy and Tolerability of Peginterferon alfa plus Ribavirin in the Routine Daily Treatment of Chronic hepatitis C Patients in Korea; a Multi-center, Retrospective Observational Study

Background/aims: Combination therapy with pegylated interferon alpha (peginterferon) and ribavirin is a standard treatment for patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC). There have been more than 20 studies examining the effect of treatment of CHC patients with peginterferon and ribavirin since 2005 in Korea. However, there is no consensus which data is best for representing the treatment of CHC with peginterferon and ribavirin.
