Robust H-infinity Control of ER Suspension Subjected to System Uncertainties

This paper presents the robust H-infinity control of a vehicle suspension installed with ER dampers. In the formulation the controller, time constant of the ER damper and parameter variation of the system are considered in order to investigate the effect of these factors to the vibration suppresion of the vehicle. The effect is analyzed via computer simulation.
