Volume Bragg Gratings Combined with Space Heater for Spectral Line Narrowing and Stabilization in High-Power Laser Diode Array

초록

This is to demonstrate a method for narrowing spectral linewidth of the high-power laser diode (HPLD) array by means of the space heater around the volume Bragg gratings (VBG). The space heater plays a significant role in homogenizing the temperature distribution on the light pathway thorugh the VBG and the ambient temperature, and as a result, helps maintain a narrow spectral linewidth of the laser diode array under high-power laser emitting conditions.
