Optimum Operation of the Present Water Facility for Algae Treatment

The abundant growth of algae brings significant problems on water supply, such as odour and taste, toxic material production and filter clogging in water treatment process. Hence, it is necessary that the proper treatment of algae will be developed. For that purpose proper treatment of algae has been investigated focusing on the optimum operation of present facilities such as optimal standard of chlorination. PAC(powder activated carbon) dosing,etc.It can save construction cost for introduction of advanced treatment facilities or equipments as well as maintenance cost.
