Dispersion Behavior of Graphene Oxides and Oxidized Carbon Nanotubes in Organic Solvents
초록
Graphite oxide is a two-dimensional epoxidized form with a sp2-bonded carbon network together with acidic functional groups. Craphite oxide can be prepared easily using the Hummers method and exfoliatedt o grapheneo xide (GO). GO is dispersed easily in polar organic solvents due to a large amount of functional groups on their surface. However, the dispersion behavior of GO in polar organic solvents differ from that of acid treated carbon nanotubes (a-CNT), which has a large number of functional groups. This study examined the difference in dispersion behavior of a- CNT and GO in polar organics olvents.l n particular,i n ethanol,t he differencei n the dispersion behaviors between them was quite interesting.
