초록

The cocrete pipe laying works are conducted in most of the construction sites. Several automating systems for the pipe laying works have been developed in advanced contries to improve productivity, safety, and quality, and to gain potential savings in costs. However, there is no efforts on technical approach to resolve the problems related to pipe laying in Korea. The major objectives of the research are to develop the automated pipe manipulator prototype and to evaluate technical feasibility of the prototype.
