Flood Simulation in the Urban Drainage System Under Climate Change
초록
In recent years, the extreme events such as heavy rainfall, heating waves, droughts, and heavy snowfalls have been occurred frequently and so we need the impact analysis of climate change for the adaptation strategy. Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) recently announced new greenhouse gas scenario reflecting new policy for the reduction of CO2. New greenhouse gas scenario called Representative concentration pathways (RCPs) is becoming an interesting subject in the field of water resources. This study started from the idea that "when considering new climate change scenarios, what are the effects that will occur in the urban drainage system?" So we tried to compare SRES and RCP climate change scenarios by using flood inundation analysis in the urban drainage system. The SWMM model was used for the flood discharge simulation in an urban drainage basin in Gyeyang-Gu, Incheon city, Korea. Based on the flood discharge simulation, the flood damage analysis was performed by using MD-FDA(Multi-Dimensional-Flood Damage Analysis) developed by Ministry of Construction and Transportation, Korea.
