초록
Recently, the wireless sensor network is extensively used for collecting data. Recent researches have proved the large portion of the performance improvements of the wireless sensor network depends on the extension of the lifetime due to wireless sensor network’s limited energy. General data collection and data transfer algorithms for mobility-enabled wireless sensor network are based on making clusters or trees for sending the collected data to the mobile base station. Tree based algorithms are easier to implement than cluster, but there is a drawback that the performance of the tree based algorithms decreases in terms of energy efficiency as the number of the wireless sensor network nodes increases. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can select tree or cluster structure according to the size of the network, named Tree-Cluster Selection.
