산란 효과를 고려하는 광선 추적법에 의한 다중모드 광 도파로의 다양한 전파 특성 분석

초록

Ray tracing technique with scattering effect was applied for analyzing the propagation characteristics of highly multimode waveguide, which was used as an optical wire in optical PCB. The technique was based on combination of the ray representation of propagating light with the first order perturbation theory for considering scattering effect of the rough surface. The bending loss, the crosstalk due to intersection of waveguides, and the dispersion characteristics were analyzed.
