NiCuZn ferrites, which ar used as a ferrite fot multilayer chip inductor, are required to have low magnetic loss at high frequency range and low temperature sinterability below 900℃ to fire the green sheets of ferrite and internal electrodes simultaneously. It is possible to get above properties by use of small amount of additives. In this study, the effect of MoO3 addition on the magnetic properties and the sintering behavior of NiCuZn ferrites was investigated. The addition of MoO3 to NiCuZn ferrite (Ni0.2Cu0.2Zn0.6O)1.02(Fe2O3)0.98 resulted in the decrease of sintering temperature and the increase of Q-factor.
