후교통동맥류를 동반한 외상성 경동맥 해면 정맥루의 혈관내 치료

초록

PURPOSE : Traumatic Carotid cavernous aneurysm(CCF) combined with intracranial aneurysm is a rare condition. It is a dangerous condition in which treatment shouls be performed immediately or even on an emergency basis. MATERIALS AND METHODS : A 45-year aged man developed traumatic CCF after passenger traffic accident. Cerebral angiography revealed a left traumatic CCF with an intracranial aneurysm on the origin of left posterior communicating artery. RESULTS : In spite of successful coil embolization were achived at two lesions, the patient expired due to a severe brain swelling. CONCLUSION : In this complicated lesions, we should keep in mind the treatment modalities. Endovascular intervention can be suitable technique in the combined situation of CCF with intracranial aneurysm
