A TRNSYS Ground Heat Exchangers Model Using a Simple Generator of the FLS–based g-function

초록

FLS(finite line source)-based g-function has been used as an alternative of Eskilson’s original g-function. A proper generation of the g-function using FLS can be achieved by setting uniform borehole temperatures for all the boreholes lest the calculated g-function would be overestimated. In this paper, this condition has been neglected in order to rapidly generate the FLS-based g-function and to ease the programming process. A Trnsys generator of such a g-function has been developed. As expected, the g-function generated from the developed Trnsys generator overestimates the values in long-time regions, but simulation results are very similar to the well-known Trnsys DST(Duct Storage) model. The difference of g-function values in that regions has little affected the simulation results (±1°C) in a test case.
