Comparison Between Various Multiple Linear Regression Model for Prediction of TBM Performance

Reliable estimation of shield tunnel boring machine performance is very important for accurate construction period and cost. In this study, comprehensive statistical procedure for prediction of tunnel boring machine performance was established to develop multiple linear regression model. Also, comparison between various multiple linear regression model was performed based on the database obtained from cable tunnels in South Korea. This paper will be useful in selecting multiple linear regression techniques in terms of explanatory and predictive performance. © 2019, Springer International Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature.
