초록

Although NTAM has been used for subway tunnel construction, tunenl collapse is repeating continuously. Present umbrella arch method(UAM) to reinforce the tunnel face do not have enough theorical background and mostly relies on experiences. Thus, a quantitative design method for UAM is introduced in this study to reduce prevent tunnel collapses in future.
