Magneotostrictive Linear Motor based on Self-Moving Cell Concept

초록

This paper presents a design concept of a linear motor activated by terfenol-D which is responded by a magnetic field. The moving cell concept proposed in this work is a novel type having several advantages incluiding design simplicity, low power consumption and etc. Some of merits are verified through an experimental realization.
