Synthesis and Properties of Cellulose-POSS-SiO2/AuO hybrid nanocomposites for high-performance materials

초록

Cellulose-based nanomaterials a sustainable and renewable material from which they are extracted from natural resource materials utilizing for potential nano-reinforcing biocomposites. The polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) exhibiting a specific cage like structure have attracted increasing attention as components of hybrid nanocomposite materials. This consists of the inner core of silicon?oxygen frame work (SiO1.5)x covered by organic substituents. Therefore, we focused on the synthesis of cellulose-polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes- SiO2/AuO hybrid nanocomposites by in situ sol-gel process. In the sol-gel process, γ -amino propyl triethoxysilane (γ-APTES) used to bonding with SiO2/AuO hybrid nanocomposites in presence of metal-precursors. The cellulose-POSS-SiO2/AuO hybrid nanocomposites were characterized by FTIR, XRD, XPS, TGA, DSC, SEM, TEM, EDX and electrochemical impedance analysis. From the different analysis results shows that thermal stability, optical transparency, control morphology and also shows good electrochemical behavior. Furthermore, the cellulose-POSS-SiO2/AuO hybrid nanocomposites were tested against pathogenic bacteria’s such as Bacillus Cereus(F4810721) and Gram negative E.coli(ATCC35150) for antimicrobial properties. It was prove that the hybrid nanocomposite samples exhibited an excellent antimicrobial activity.
