Enzyme을 이용한 Levofloxacin 생산에서 Cyclodextrin의 이용

Various cyclodextrins(CDs) were tested to enhance the production of levofloxacin with porcine liver esterase by increasing solubility of hydrophobic substrate. α-CD was found to be the best in enhancing solubility of substrate, ofloxacin butyl ester. The conversion yield was increased from 35 to 80% after 30 hours of the reaction when the same molar ratio of α-CD to substrate was used.
