Syntheses of Ba and Sr complexes containing ligands derived from tripodal amines and beta-diketones

Preparation of coordinatively saturated Ba and Sr complexes with ligands derived from tripodal amines and beta-diketone has been investigated. Characterization of theses complexes was made by 1H, 13C, TGA and elemental analysis. Possible adoption of these complexes as MOCVD precursors will be discussed.
