수정된 밀도함수법을 이용한 규칙파 중 원형기둥 주위의 자유수면 수치시뮬레이션

During the design of column-based platforms, the prediction of maximum crest height distorted by the column is important to determine the deck height of the platform. This paper addresses a method for the prediction of run-up around a circular column in regular waves using modified marker density(MMD) method which is one of methods to define the free surface in Cartesian grid system. The diffraction of regular waves and wave run-up due to a circular column are investigated. The numerical simulations are performed by specifying the velocities of being solved by Stokes 5th order wave theory at the inlet and applying damping zone near to the outlet. The simulations are performed for the waves of three steepnesses and two periods selected from experimental data(Kristiansen et al., 2004). The numerical results are presented good agreement to the experimental data.
