초록

This study investigates the tactile and emotional qualities of traditional Korean fabrics?Mosi, Nobang, Mumyeong, Gongdan, and Sunin?and analyzes consumer preferences. The results show that Gongdan and Sunin exhibit a soft and Feminine sensibility, while Mosi and Mumyeong are characterized by a rough and Traditional sensibility. Although the softness of Gongdan and Sunin leads to higher tactile preference, Mumyeong is evaluated more positively in terms of clothing suitability. Notably, despite the similar tactile and emotional qualities of Mosi and Mumyeong, there are differences in their suitability for clothing. The findings suggest that utilizing plant-based fibers can contribute to the modernization of traditional fabrics.
